Oh, Charlotte... I have fallen for your lovely range and the colour chameleons are the bees knees. I have dark brown nc45 skin and super duper oily lids. I have the shade dark pearl.

I love this product. The colour shows up as a bronzed purple tone which I've worn alone during the day and jazzed up with more shadows at night. It looks great and produces a flattering sheen without looking glittery.

My favourite thing about this products is the longevity. I have extremely oily lids and even with a primer most eye products crease awfully within 3-4 hours. This held up all day on top of my Nars shadow base with zero creasing. Colour me sold. There are only a few other products with that kind of tenacity and of those this is a really easy to apply and easy to wear shade. I draw on my lids and smudge with a finger and that's it. On days when I want to jazz up my usual no-shadow look this is my new go to product.

It's pricey but in line with other similar products by LM and Bobby. The colour selection beats the pants off of the Rimmel and Kiko. I would vastly prefer a wind up to the pencil which needs to be sharpened so that is one sloppy off for packaging but otherwise this is damn near perfect and I would definitely recommend and repurchase.

This is a truly terrible product. I was enticed by the whole idea of making your eyes pop with one product etc. In reality the colour (amethyst) was lovely, but it was horrendous to apply: really difficult to get on and just impossible to blend. What a waste of a lot of money.

So disappointing. Wanted this for ages and finally bagged it at the weekend. It is marketed as an eye enhancing shadow crayon that is long lasting and waterproof. The colour is indeed fab and it does look lovely (I got bronze garnet) but as for staying power - nope. It was faded and gone funny in the crease of my eye after a few hours. Wouldn't buy again.

I have this pencil in black diamond colour. Very convenient product. You can use it as khol or eyeshadows. Colour is nice. Very handy. But you need to sharpen it each time before using because it gets over fast. Good product. I wouldn't buy it again thought because I personally prefer cream eyeshadows of Tom Ford. I still think cream eyeshadows are better to use.

I love Charlotte Tilbury products and have several of them. I have Bronzed Garnet and Amethyst Aphrodisiac for green eyes and the colours are beautiful and really do make green eyes pop. They blend easily. But the packaging bugs me as the lid constantly comes off which means the tip of the product gets damaged in makeup bags. And they crease on me even with lid primer.

Ok Umm let's be truthful...I so wanted to love this line! A luxury makeup why not splurge! I work hard for my money and gals I know you do to, so here we go. I bought the eye pencil in champagne Diamonds. It tore up my eyes! Itched something terrible well if that wasn't enough lol (I admit it could be my own sensative eyes) I felt like it went on uneven, dries too fast to play with, felt like I had glue on my eyes. I've heard good reviews so I'm surprised! Being honest is my job! It was a complete waste of $$$$ even the low end eyeliners I have where better than this! I'm sure somewhere in this line there is something to love I have not found it yet! ;)

I knew the minute I read the write up about the Colour Chameleons for blue eyes I had to have both sticks because they sounded so perfect to amp up my light blue eyes! And WOW was I ever correct! I can't decide which stick is my favorite but probably the "Black Diamonds" because they are so perfect for night time and wear so nicely, the stick goes on smooth as silk and I'm just lazy enough to put the Black Diamonds right on the edge of my eyelid making my eyes shimmer and dance with the naturally sparkely gemstone and with the a flick of my tiny pinky I blend the the edge except for a little flip of on my far side to mirror a cat eye. This pencil works so well my cat eye is perfectly done with absolutely no trouble whatsoever. Now that's close to magic, I don't know of too many products that could do that so easily! The quality of the pencils is just soft enough to go on smoothly but not too soft to be waisted by having to be sharpened constantantly to keep,a tight point to use to make the edge of the point blurr without my smearing the pencil. But the best part of the Colour Chameleon is that it makes my eyes so blue that when I use the products ladies often ask if I'm wearing cosmetic contact lenses in deep blue? I try not to giggle but it's too much fun to be imagined that I'm wearing a blue plastic concave disc making my eyes a deep blue color!

DARK PEARL
Love! I bought this because it looked like a versatile shae in swatch pics. It's intended for brown eyes but looks lovely on my blue/green eyes too. The quality blew me away, it's very pigmented and glides on beautifully. It can be built up to a higher intensity. I once used it with a primer underneath but didn't like that quite as much, it felt like it set instantly and I had no time to actually smudge it out. I also like that it can be used as an eyeliner, which makes it quite versatile.

BLACK DIAMONDS
Disappointment. After getting Dark Pearl I was keen to try another one, one for blue eyes. I got the dark one. The quality is a lot different. The glitter specks are HUGE, whereas in dark pearl it's a beautiful shimmer. It didn't apply nicely at all either, very patchy and the stick was a lot more melty and soft.

OVERALL
Pricey, some colours are better than others. Packaging looks nice but I would have prefered if it was an automatic pencil rather than one that requires sharpening. While I love Black Pearl I think I would get a cheaper alternative the next time. There are some great budget alternatives available (thinking of Rimmel Scandal Eyes for instance).

This shadow pencil is fantastic. The texture is soft but not smudgy and easy to apply. You do need a special sharpener for it which Charlotte sells for $7. On casual days I use it as a liner and I am done with eyes. Goes on evenly and the colors are great (I have several). For a more dramatic look, I use it as a shadow with Charlotte's Rock'nKohl eyeliner pencil and mascara and it's gorgeous. So easy and fun to create many different looks.

I have dark brown eyes and purchased this in Dark Pearl and it is GORGEOUS. I love it and can't stop staring at my eyes when I have it on. It is very shimmery (but not hard core glittery) so I keep it just to my lids or as a liner for work but apply more generously for play time. It is a very complex shade and looks like you are wearing multiple colors. It applies like butter and sets in about 20 seconds on me so you have a little time to blend and then it's on until you remove it. I haven't tried any other colors but the Dark Pearl is a hit for me.
