It does makes my lashes look really thick but there's instances that it kinda look clumpy and heavy or maybe its because I naturally have thick lashes that makes it look heavy when I put thickening mascara but overall covergirl products are a must-haves.

One of my go to thickening mascaras. Like others have said, I believe this is a hidden gem at the drugstore. There great thing about the "bottom row" mascaras is that you can usually get two in a package for the same cost as the "top row" mascaras. I like the formula a lot. It reminds me of my beloved Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara. Its more on the dry side, but that makes it very easy to build layers without clumps. I also like this mascara layered under lengthening mascaras. This plus the LOREAL Telescopic Carbon Black mascara is a great combination for a dramatic look. It did not smudge or flake on me, and I live in a particularly humid climate. All in all a good mascara that I will definitely repurchase!

This mascara is a great! You can create a natural look with just 1 or 2 coats but if you want thicker, longer lashes it has a very easy formula to build up with. The only con is that it smudges and flakes very easily. But for the price, a great product.

This is my current go to mascara. I think this is one of the best drugstore mascaras. It is a little heavy on my long lashes so curling is a must!

This used to be my favorite and only mascara before they changed it...
With the change of packaging came the change in formula, because it is not the same mascara as it use to be. The reason why it was my favorite one was the fact that besides it looked great on your lashes and lasted forever, it also was very easy to remove. The new version of it is extremely difficult to remove. I tried everythingstarting from soap and water and finishing with Cover Girl eye makeup remover which is horrible by the way. I tried eye makeup remover for waterproof mascaras...again very difficult to remove and comes off together with your lashes. It is ten times easier to remove Bobbi Brown waterproof one I am using right now than this. Very dissapointed.

This is a great, simple mascara that doesn't claim to work miracles. It doesn't flake or clump. Just gives me nice, natural, pretty lashes.

A great go-to, everyday mascara. I got this in Very Black, and it is black, but not jet-black.

Applies easily, from root to tip of lashes (isn't it a shame in this day and age that we get excited when a mascara does what is supposed to do..? So many gimmicks anymore it seems!). The brush is an old-fashioned bristle brush, and is not too fat/thick/chubby. The formula is not too wet and not too dry. Easy to build up color, it dries fast but not too fast, so you can layer nicely. Does not clump on me at all, and builds decent volume and length. The cap/lid makes an odd 'clicking' sound when completely closed, which some may appreciate, but just pointing that out. This is super-affordable and the performance is very good, even better than some high end mascaras that I have tried. Removes just fine. No irritation and no flaking or smudging on me (and many mascaras tend to flake or smudge on me). No transfer at all, just behaves very nicely. An overlooked little gem at the drugstore imho. Will re-purchase!!!!

I think this is a hidden gem! I rarely buy CoverGirl products but during my mascara research I stumbled across this one. It's pretty basic and simple - from the packaging to the brush. I knew I'd like the brush as soon as I saw it. I don't think it's an 'over the top' mascara but does a great job. No clumping, holds a curl well and separates lashes. Good for lengthening and thickens as well but requires a few coats (as most mascaras do). Not sure why I haven't heard of this one before. It's at the bottom of the CoverGirl mascaras on display because I think the new fancy packaging and newer products have taken over.

This mascara is like comfort food. It's not outrageous, but dang. It feels good and does the job well, and you're never disappointed.

The brush is a traditional brush and really grabs the lashes well and separates well. The formula is pretty dry, but I've been using it for at least a month and no flakes. It smudged on me once, on a particularly hot/humid day where I was rubbing my eyes a lot. It is easy to remove with regular eye makeup remover.

Lashes are thick, separated and look just lovely. Sometimes mascaras give me TOO much, since my lashes are naturally long, but this just gives enough of volume and lengthening to look like I have wha-BAM lashes. Love.
