honestly am quite disappointed with this because it takes FOREVERRR to dry. I have to keep my eyes slightly closed for a while to let it dry and not smudge. However, I liked the brush - it made me feel like eyeliner was easier to apply than usual.

I tried this product on the spur of the moment at CVS. I had planned to buy another (more expensive though highly rated) eyeliner when I saw some millennials looking at the display. The clerk said yes, this was now very popular. So I went for it. At two bucks, what could I lose? Well I have to tell you I used it today for the first time, and it's sensational.It went on easily (I am pretty good at eyeliner having started using it before most of you were born - think Cleopatra!). It lasted all day, without deterioration. I have a good remover so I'm not worried about taking it off. People, run, don't walk to buy this great value.

Interesting story... I've been trying to find a good drugstore liquid black liner. When I found this one in a set (with two other glitter liners I love) I was super excited that it cost less than 3 dollars.

When I finally tried it, it did not stay on the eyelid at all. The consistency was super watery and it was literally like trying to put oil on water. Even if I shook it, let one coat dry, wiped my eyelid etc. it would not stay on. I realized the formula was garbage. Such a shame, because the brush was really nice. But when I swatched it on my hand, it didn't have the same effect and was like a normal liner.

I was super disappointed until I had an idea and took my wet n wild h2o proof liner(which I hated until now) and put the elf brush in it. Surprisingly, the cap fit perfectly :D I now love using it. And for the elf one, well, it belongs in the trash.

This is horrible! It is so downright horrible that I'm kind of mad that E.L.F. has the audacity to sell this as a liquid liner.

This is watery. And when I say that I don't JUST mean that it's thin, poorly pigmented and runny, no it literally lays on top of the skin as a drop of water. It is impossible to use because once applied to the skin it slides around like a droplet of water and dries however it likes. And when it eventually does dry (which takes FOREVER), it dries to a very plastic-y finish that is not flattering at all. Also I have to say again that the pigmentation (in the black one at least) is so poor that it comes off as a light gray color, and because of consistency it is impossible to build on this after it dries.

Of course because this is basically tinted water it will also smudge like crazy even if you do by some miracle manage to get a decent application.

The only thing I like about this is that it has a brush applicator, which I might take out and try on other liners because it is very thin.

But over all, save your money because this is not even worth a penny. Actually I would not even accept this if I got it for free.
My current favorite in the liquid liner department is the Wet 'n wild Mega liner, and that one is not much more expensive than this, so I recommend trying that to see what liquid liner is supposed to feel/dry like on the skin.

This product is not worth your time or money even if it goes on sale. It dried up so fast and did not provide a smooth liner application.

Honestly I wanted to like this but it is WAY too watery and streaky :(

I recently have been getting into makeup more and I never thought I would use a liquid eyeliner. (I kind of suck at pencil.) But this was $2 at my local Walmart so I thought I'd give it a try. I love this eyeliner! Its super easy to apply (this is coming from someone who doesn't apply pencil eyeliner well.) I can put on this eyeliner in their morning, sleep in it and wake up the next morning and it hasnt smudged or rubbed off. But the greatest thing is that it comes off super easy withwater. Overall great product and a super affordable price.

This liquid liner is truly a bang for your buck. Its literally a dollar! So pigmented and smooth. My favorite liquid liner by far!

I purchased this product at a local Dollar Tree for just $1. I was originally on the search for some gel liner, but I figured got to start some where with the trying new makeup experiences that I am getting a kick for lately. I am giving this product an over all 4/5 because it does not work for my waterline. I tried this today on my waterline and went back to my charcoal pencil heated because the application is more consistent and not liquidy.

With that said, it does have a very nice deep black on my lid. I know I do not apply a lot, this may really just like my skin or something because it works wonderfully to create a smooth dark upper lid line. It not only is very easy to apply with the flexible brush but I will reach for this stuff before I do my charcoal for my upper lid any day now.

In a few months I will be on the prowl for some gel liner to try, but till then this will work well enough for what I want. I will also repurchase this when I run out, as long as it doesn't dry out fast in the next month.

I really love this eyeliner! I apply pencil liner first then use this to make my cat eye liner and it goes on so perfect, I have repurchased over and over again ð
