really love this product for a number of reasons. The biggest being I have really, really brown toned lids. So much to the point where I look Im wearing a wash of brown eyeshadow all the time. Not gonna lie, it can be a real time-saver, but I'm a sucker of nude eyeshadows and I was so sick of constantly building up nude colours on my lids: it was messy, expensive and it took too long. After some research I found this at target. First of all, this stuff is super high coverage and pigmented, I love it! I just dab some on my eyes and blend it up to my browbone and it hides all the brown discolouration and some veining. My eyeshadow goes so well over the top and I would say it lasts extremely well throughout the day, maybe 7-8 hours. It is quite an orange formula though but I honestly don't see it on my eyelids because they're so brown, so if you have lighter colour lids I wouldn't recommend this. For $5, you definitely cant go wrong with this. Def re-purchasing.

I was looking for an inexpensive eyelid primer to hold me over until the VIB sale, and I don't think I'll need to purchase a new one after using this! I love the doe foot packaging, and you need the tiniest amount for both eyes. The colour is off putting at first (darker and on the orange side) but it's easy to control with how much product you use. It cancels out any discolouration well and isn't noticeable once you apply your eyeshadow over top. I try to work fast with it because it's also thick but that also depends on how much you use. You don't need a lot. I'm really impressed with this product and I'm so happy I finally tried it.

This eyeshadow base its the best eyeshadow base that i ever try. the eyeshadows stay longer and they are more.pigmented. Its the second time that i buy it!!! and its so cheap

I was really excited to try out this product because I had heard some positive reviews on it and it is a cheap primer. The color is really orange and for me it did not blend out so I was left with orange eyelids. It is a tackier consistency but my eyeshadow started creasing on me within around three hours of wearing it. For a cheap eye primer I definitely prefer the elf one.

This is my least favorite essence product :( I really wanted to love this, but I honestly think my concealer serves as a better primer than this. It's very cheap, but it's junk. I want to say this only held up my eyeshadow 2 hours, then creased so bad. Get it together Essence!

I love this. It really holds your makeup in place. Sometimes I use it under my eye as well before applying concealer.

I own this and the popular Primer Potion by Urban Decay. Yes this has a colour, but blend it over your lid and it's not evident. I use it under my eyes before concealer as well.

This stuff is brilliant. I used water on my face to remove make up and my shadow didn't budge. It didn't crease or fade throughout the day either.

I thought for the amount I use that PP was good value for money, however it can't touch this which works just as well but for a fifth of the price. I will definitely buy this again and may well stock up just in case.

I was really excited about this primer but now I'm not sure. It's colored and I thought it would go away once dry but no, it leaves me with orange lids, so if you don't spread it carefully you'll have to apply shadow where you didn't intend to or deal with orange spots.
Does it make shadows pop? Extend wear? If so I haven't noticed too much. It looks like it does when I put it on my arm for swatches but not sure if it translates to my eyes. I will say that it does help with creasing though.

It's alright but I think I'll go back to the E.L.F. one (if I can find it in a store in Germany).

I saw good reviews for this product and after finding it in a shop for £2.50 I thought I'd try it. First of all the colour bothered me, it's an orange/tan colour and I like things to be pale, and I have a fair complexion, HOWEVER, it does what it should do as a primer, and in my experience it works better than my Urban Decay Primer Potion (but that might be because I use so little of that because of the cost.) I have been struggling to find a primer that doesn't make my eyeshadow crease and this is it for me. I have semi-oily eyelids and this worked wonderfully. For the price, I'm extremely pleased :)

I love this primer. I have very oily hooded eyelids, and this stays put on my eyelids all day. I do use this in combination of MAC Paintpot, and then eye shadow over top but I would have to do that with any primer. I use this for everyday makeup looks.
