I badly wanted to love this product, but no.
Pros:
- applicator is so much better than in none waterproof version, easy to use
- nice gel texture
- convenient packaging
Cons:
- color selection. all colors are in very warm range. I have light brown hair and had to buy chestnut shade because everything else is too light or too dark. Chestnut shade isn't light brown, it's deep caramel. MAC consultant told it's okay for me, I can't agree.
- this product makes my brows feel stiff, exactly the same feeling as mascara on lashes.
- it can't keep my brow hair in place. I have only a few that needs to be managed, this gel can't do it

What an awesome product! One easy step for polished brows! I only use this now and it takes me a fraction of the time to do my eyebrows. I LOVE IT!

Sorry to ruin the perfect rating, but I don't think this product is great. I have full brows, and though I keep them plucked and trimmed, I still need a brow gel that will make them stay put. This one doesn't quite, but it does make my brows feel slightly stiff. But my bigger objection is to the color selection. I have ash blond hair, and bought Emphatically Blonde at the suggestion of the SA at the MAC counter. It is described on the MAC website as "soft muted beige-taupe", yet the color isn't taupe. I would describe it as a light caramel. It doesn't blend in with my brows and looks like I'm trying to highlight them.

I can't express how much I love this product! I recently realised what a difference well shaped brows make and I can't live withouht this "mascara" for brows. The shape of the brush is just perfect it fills my brows, defines them and it keeps them in place all day long. Couldn't possibly ask for more and I don't think I'll ever even need to look further than this.

I use this in quite brunette and this is perfect for my brown hair! This is very easy to use and coats every brow hair evenly. They stay in place the whole day long but easy to remove whenever I need to! My brows stay soft and not crunchy at all which is really nice. You can use this product alone for a very natural effect or pair with a brow pencil for the perfect groomed brow look. I was going to buy Gimme Brow but I think it is the same thing and this comes in with a lot more product. Really recommend this!!

Okay. This is my right hand brow man, to the point where I feel 100% naked without it. I used to use the Anstasia brow gel and really liked it, but the MAC knocks that product out of the park, especially in terms of taming the unruliness of my brows. I have it in Bold Brunette and it matches my nearly black brows and hair perfectly. The tiny applicator wand is the ideal size and shape, making it tough to stray outside your brow line. The formula is smooth and doesn't crust up your hairs or look too gel-like. It lasts ALL DAY, even those jerky hairs at the end of my eyebrows don't move, without being difficult to remove. HG, legit.

Love this!!! Finally a brow product that comes in a shade light enough for my brows. I use empathetically blond. Worth the $21 I paid for it. I use it after anastasia brow pomade and then I'm good to go.

HG brow product for me! I tend to perspire on my face when it's humid outside. While wearing this my brows have remained impeccable through perspiration and rain. I could not ask for more/better.

I guess I have found my perfect brow product. It comes in a packaging like mascara with a tiny applicator which is very convenient. The product is nice to use: doesn't make your eye brow hair stick together or feel crunchy. The color matches well my natural dark brown hair color. Did not have any problems with longevity: seems to hold everything in place as long as it is required.

I have been investing in brow products lately and I really like this one. I have it in Red chestnut which is perfect for a very natural full brow with my red hair. It holds my brows in place and lasts all day but doesn't feel crunchy at all. I hated the Anastatsia clear brow gel because it felt cold and crunchy. I love the little applicator.
I was looking at the Anastasia tinted brow gel but the brush is huge! And benefit gimmie brow gives you so little product its rediculous. I feel like this MAC version is much more product for money, excellent product, and nice applicator.
Very much recommend for people looking with plenty of brow hair just needing to fill in a little or darken them. Also for people wanting a natural brow, not a super structured brow.
