This is a great pop of color for the eyes. It is a very smooth formula and it is very pigmented. If you are looking for a minty green/ turquoise shadow this is a good one for the price. I got mine at Ulta for $6.99 and have used it many times this summer.

Oh finally this got reviewed. It deserves all the hype, it's awesome. Everyone loves it, go get it.

Really though. I have a few and this color is gorgeous. I thouht I didn't need it, how often will I wear it? Often. They have a nice kind of irridescent duocrome thing going on here, to copy off the Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadows (I don't know what that even is, I don't have any. That's just the word on the street). Oh, and Urban Decay came out with a few similar shades that have dupes in this Nyx line. Not Mermaid specifically but just putting it out there.

This color is great and lasts well. A fantastic addition for a great price. Super awesome find. I love it as an eye brightener/accent color.

The only bummer is they break easily. I have been pretty lucky, with only one of them kind of depotting itself in one solid disc, but many reviewers online or friends have said theirs shattered. Booo. Other than that they are great.

***Note: the TESTERS they have available do NOT do these shadows justice. When i swatched mine after i got home, the color pay of is 100x better! They are extremely pigmented and have a high/metallic finish! I can't even imagine how'd they look if applied wet. I think i'd pass out LOL!!

I was elated when I finally saw these prismatic shadows at my local London Drugs. I went straight for "Mermaid" (which is an extremely fitting name for color). I would envision this is what mermaid scales would look like ^_~. I had seen swatches of this beautiful color and was dying to get my hands on it! It's an enchanting shade of mint/turquoise/teal perfection that has a duochrome gold/lime green flash to it! It's so unique that even in dim light, it appears to have a "glowing" effect. Needless to say, I bought myself a back up already.

These shadows feel almost creamy like and very soft.

I love using this on the bottom lash line. I just apply a thin line from the inner corner to about 2/3 out. Sometimes I line the entire lower lash line and even extend it past a bit for a more dramatic look. Also looks beautiful when slightly smudged to give a more "natural" look. I plan on using this over my entire lid as well!

If you want an even more high shine, apply wet and the result is.... *faints*

You get 0.043 OZ. / 1.24 grams of product which IMO.. seems less than a standard eyeshadow? but oh wellz. Costs for $7.99 CDN.

Comes in shiny silver cap with a bow closure in the front. The bottom half of the pot is black. So cute!!
