I bought this mascara specifically for my bottom lashes. This is just an average mascara in my opinion. I don't see anything special about it at all except for it's just a perfect size for bottom lashes that's all. The formula doesn't really give me the effect that I need neither. I have average bottom lashes, thin but not too short or too sparse. But this mascara still doesn't really give me a fuller or lengthening effect that I'm hoping for. I have to apply at least 3 coats for it to bring out the differences between 'bare lashes' and 'with mascara lashes'. I'm not looking for something that will make my bottom lashes look "Wow...Babam!" or anything but at least something. It might be good for someone with long & full bottom lashes already but obviously not for mine. I'm not going to re-purchase this mascara :(

p.s. Maybelline Lash Discovery is still going to be my holy grail bottom lashes mascara for a while until there is something better.

I have black lashes so I have never really needed mascara, but as I have aged (heavy sigh), they seem a little sparse. Thought that it was time for a mascara, but almost all of them clumped and smeared onto my upper lid. Tried the IT Cosmetics Tightline and loved it, but it is very expensive. Then I saw the NYX Skinny Mascara. It is even better and you cannot beat the cost savings. Definitely now my HG.

This stuff is awesome! Not clumpy, doesn't flake, I use it as a first coat to prime and separate the lashes at the base. Then I go in and top it with a curling mascara and people ask me all the time if I have eyelash extensions!

Flakey I love the tightlining effect this gives you initially but unfortunately it flakes. I love this tiny straight brush for this technique but after a few hours the area youve tightlined on your upper rims flakes off. Maybe its just my eyes but I had lots of flakes after the first use of this mascara. As far as it being a mascara, very little product is deposited on your lashes so dont expect any volume at all with this one. I was going to use it strictly for my bottom lashes but because I have to use a moisturizer I ended up with no mascara at the end of the day. Strangely, this doesnt happen with my CG mascaras?

Clumpy. What a waste of money. I love the skinny option in other brands because it gives me the control I like for my fair fine lashes. This is not a good one. The brush is just a weird wand with tiny teeth that for me do nothing. The formula is clumpy on the brush, yuck.

This mascara has become my favorite bottom lash mascara. The skinny brush allows me to reach every lash, even the small ones in the corners. It lengthens and thickens without looking spider-like. It doesn't smudge or flake. This also works great as a tightline mascara. I curl my lashes and then put this on. It makes me lashline look thicker and I notice that my normal mascara goes on smoother when I use this product first. I find that if I put this on after my normal mascara, it clumps. The only thing I don't like is that the wash bends very easily. I missed the tube putting the wand back in and the brush bent a little. It doesn't ruin the mascara and the way that it applies, but it is something that bothers me a bit.

Love the tight-ligning, but it leaves mascara on my upper eyelid, which is something it supposedly eliminates.

Also, I find it gets a little clumpy, because although the brush is super skinny, the grooves are a little too wide and gather lashes together upon application. Wiping most of the formula off the wand eliminated this problem somewhat.

IT Cometics has one of these, $26, tightlining mascara. I knew I would find a dupe! This is it. This performs to me at least as well as the IT. I've used it as a mascara, and as a primer with BE Lash Domination, and it is just as good alone. I love how easy it is to sweep from the base of the lash, the outer corners, and the bottom lashes. Sometimes brushes are so large, they create dots or pokes. BTW, Lash Domination is ok, not as good as BeneFit, They're Real. I'm thrilled that I can buy 4 of these for 1 IT. They retail for $7.99 US, but with a $3.50 off $10, this is a great bargain, and a definite keeper!

When I first started using this, I was very excited about the tiny brush and how it can pretty much get to every lash. But that's the thing - it TAKES TIME to get the mascara'd look you want. I don't like spending too much time on my makeup, so I prefer regular-sized mascara to get the job done in one fell swoop. So while this is a cute product, it's not efficient enough for me.

Goodbye, Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. HG status, this one! This Skinny Mascara only comes in black and it's got the tiniest mascara brush I've ever seen! It's not tree or cone shaped like other mascaras, including Clinique's. Instead, it's a skinny little narrow brush that is pretty much the same size as the wand it's on. The mascara formula itself is great, I have no issues with "racooning" or flaking. You will truly be able to find lashes you didn't know you had with it. As long as I can get my hands on this I will never again buy Clinique's (which dries out at the speed of light, making me feel like I never get my money's worth out of a tube).
