This lip liner is so nice and easy to apply. I do wish it were a bit harder on the tip so I could have a sharper line. However, the color is just so lovely and it has worked beautifully with all lipstick and lipgloss I've tried. I've never been a user of lip liners but sometimes aging kind of push us in that direction.

this is great, long lasting stuff! I bought two colors: canvas and icon. Canvas is my perfect nude and icon is that perfect, iconic red. They make everything I wear them with last all day!

At friend of mine had this exact lip liner and once I tried it on I knew I had to own one of my own. I have the color Eden and its amazing. It is nude and goes on smoothly and matches perfectly with many neutral lip sticks. Took away 1 start because it is a bit pricy for a lip liner and also I don't have use for the small brush on the opposite send, its kind of stiff.

Thick, creamy, and stays put. It is heavily pigmented enough to stand alone as a lipstick, assuming that you have the right moisturizer underneath.

I bought this lipliner to match a lipstick, although the specific color ( muse ) did not really work as planned, I thought the lipliner was great. it is a nice long pencil, so it is easy to control when applying. The colors are pretty vivid, and the liner definately keeps the the lipstick from bleeding. There is also a lip brush on the opposite end which is great for a pinch when you do not have one with you. The other good thing is that hourglass lipliners match their lip colors exactly, so it make it easy. The only drawback is that they are pricey for a lipliner.

The description gave me the impression that this lip pencil could be worn alone. The color isn't as intense as I would like. It doesn't make sense for the lip liner to cost the same as the liquid lipstick. It isn't worth the price.

like color Eden , really suits my complexion, long wearing. not drying. The brush is not soft / luxurious enough, the make of the pencil can be better for the price.

I wore this liner with the icon long-wear lipstick. I have a problem with feathering and lipsticks -- so i typically avoid bright red lips. But I had such a great experience with the hourglass nude lipsticks, I thought i'd give this a try for a company christmas party. I put it on at 4pm -- lip-liner across the entire lip and a layer or two of the icon longwear and by 1am it felt like I didn't have any lipstick left. I checked -- still there and looking as red as ever.

These colors last and stay moist on lips...no drying out. Nice to have a lip brush on one end too..

I purchased this lip pencil and matching lipstick in Empress. The first time I used the pencil, the entire tip broke off and I had to immediately sharpen it. The pencil formula is very soft and will probably lead to more breakage, but it does provide good buildable color coverage.
