This is a very natural mascara. I would not suggest it for the pool but rather a rainy day. What I do so my lashes are waterproof and have lots of volume and length is I use L'oreals voluminous million lashes excess and put 1-2 coats and let it dry. Then I use this product on top and after a rainy day, I never have smudges!!

Does hardly anything to your lashes. Does not hold a curl. Messy application.

Such a disappointment!

As others have commented, the packaging is rather lovely but the product inside is just really sub-standard. I have fairly thick, long lashes but I like more volume and this did nothing for them. Three layers later and they still look just like natural lashes, maybe a bit blacker?! The formula is clearly all argan oil with a bit of black in.

If I want a really natural look I may wear this again, but to be honest, I prefer lashes with a bit more oomph. Really disappointed and am kicking myself for not waiting one more day before I went somewhere else to buy a mascara I knew would be nice (or checking these reviews first!).

I was running low on my usual every day mascara (Covergirl lash blast) and I wanted to try something new. I was intrigued by the packaging and description of this particular one. It's in a beautiful bright, shiny, blue tube and it claims to have argan oil in the mascara, helping to moisturize your lashes. This particular one also claims to be waterproof.
When I applied this, I could tell that it wasn't doing very much, other than slightly coating my lashes with product. The formula is very wet. There was no lengthening, no volumizing, and no separating of the lashes. My lashes just looked limp and weighed down by this product. This mascara darkened my lashes, but it didn't do much else. Since I was headed somewhere, I went ahead and decided to just curl my lashes and give it a try for the day.
My day consisted of cleaning my apartment and then being outside at a park (in 94* heat) rehearsing for an upcoming musical, so I was sweating a lot. Even so, I did not experience any flaking or smudging. My lashes did not look very long/big, but the formula held up from what I could tell.
I guess this isn't the worst mascara I have tried, but I would not repurchase by any means. I'm going to try to use up by layering with other mascaras, but I wish I could return.

Argh I'm so angry at myself for not doing my research on this product before I bought it. What a waste of my hard earned money on a subpar product.

I bought this because I liked the concept of argan oil and I'm really devastated that such beautiful metallic blue packaging was wasted on such an average mascara. In terms of appearance it doesn't do anything for me except darkens my lashes, it gives no volume or length even after multiple coats. Admittedly though, the argan definitely does something cos it made my lashes feel soft and beautiful but if that's all I wanted I could have just bought a serum or something surely?

As for lasting power, it began to flake off and fall onto my face after about 5 hours and I don't think it's very waterproof either because it's very easy to remove. Since you can't return cosmetics in Australia, I'm stuck with it so I guess I'll have to find a use for it :(

The pricing and packaging of this product was definitely up to par in my opinion. The product and it's effectiveness definitely missed the mark for myself anyways. While I do find it make my lashes darker, it lacks majorly in volume and length.

The commercial is very misleading and very obvious that the model is using false lashes to give the illusion that this mascara can do wonders. What this mascara will do is disappoint even the most hardcore mascara junkie. The tip of the wand has a habit of poking me in the eye and manages to transfer product onto my eye make-up causing a major issue. When applied it makes my naturally long lashes appear to be short and very thin/sparse. I'd honestly be embarrased to use this on it's own and the formula seems to be very thin and not very easily buildable. I've used this to mix with other mascaras and it does offer the darkness but nothing more. My overall rating would be a - 1 if possible because it definitely didn't make the cut in my many mascara's I am rotating.

Definitely pass on this product while it's cheap it's not worth the buy.. sorry Rimmel.

Horrible mascara. Doesn't hold an artificial curl despite being waterproof, doesn't lengthen or thicken. All it really does is make your lashes look a bit darker.

I had really really wanted to like this mascara, because I am such a big fan of the matte lipsticks and the invisible powder. But this mascara was terrible. every time I wore it, it wouldn't stay. You have to put on the mascara and then blink it out onto a piece of extra cotton or something, so that you don't get mascara marks all over your under eye area. Please go back to the drawing board with this product Rimmel London. It sucks.

This review is based on 1st impression after only 1 wear, but already I am not impressed. I am always on the hunt for a true waterproof mascara that leaves my lashes soft, lush and defined, maybe that is too tall an order, but this mascara definitely DID not deliver! First off, when you pull the wand out, there is a lot of excess product on the tip of the wand which needs to be scraped off, unless you're going for the goopy, grungy, "my mascara is smeared all over my eyes on purpose" look! It applies okay, very short plastic bristles which are supposed to grab and separate each lash, but don't, really. It does give a little volume and wasn't overly clumpy. I only applied 2 coats on the top lashes since it was an everyday makeup look I was wearing. It seems like the mascara never fully dried, or 'set', and it began smudging on me immediately and kept on smudging all day long! Maybe it's the oil in it that prevents it from setting, but I had raccoon eyes in less than an hour, and I had to keep cleaning up under my eyes all day long (who has time for that?!?) I will try it again, and apply a coat of Maybelline The Rocket waterproof on top, and see how that works, as the Rimmel did make my lashes look nice when I first put it on, but it needs something to keep it on, and not smear and smudge afterwards!

Worst. Mascara. Ever. Where do I begin? I had product falling all over my face upon application - I don't recall ever having this happen w/ any of the mascaras I've tried (and I have tried TONS) - was a very weird and messy experience. The product I did manage to get on my lashes would NOT stay on my lashes and in 2 hours, the stuff I did have on my lashed had mysteriously disappeared. What a waste and waterproof NOT! I did (for a brief moment) have some nice length, very little volume.

Tossed in garbage!
