I probably have around 30 mascaras. For the average person that doesn't review products or anything... that's pretty crazy. Sadly, I have the typical, pain in the butt, not so feathery Asian lashes. Stick straight, points down, short as... and they're thick! Curls don't hold. EVER.

I love my Youtube makeup tutorial and reviews which is how I have ended up with so many mascaras. What works for others, most likely won't work for me lol. Even if they are a fellow Asian lady.

I don't know how many mascaras I have tried in my lifetime but I know that it's a big number. So far, I have found 3 that works for me and Urban Decay Cannonball is one of them. Sadly, the least affordable of the 3 but still worth the price if you have extremely stubborn lashes.

I have oily skin... this is what happens with most mascaras:
Stick straight lashes with mascara + oily skin = panda eyes with 1 hour

This mascara gives me some length (since my curl holds!), some volume and does not smudge on me Removal is a bit more difficult but it is too be expected and my Neutrogena Oil-free makeup remover (shaky one) removes it easy enough.

If you have the moolah and you have lashes that sound as annoying as mine, this is worth a shot. If you're after something works almost as well a much more friendly price tag, try the Maybelline Lash Sensational Waterproof.

I recently went seeking out a new mascara to use for my daily look (work, school, etc.) since my old one is just a bit too heavy to keep putting on every day.

I began my search for mascaras that work well with being removed with oil-free makeup removers. So this one popped up and I was excited to give it a try since I found the applicator tip to be interesting. I was right! The mascara works great, evening out my lashes when I apply it and dries quickly.

For the ultimate test I tried removing the mascara with my makeup remover and my old mascara used to smear and I would have to go over my eyes three or four times to get it all off. This works great and comes off after two go overs with a wad of tissue.

This mascara delivers on its waterproof promise. You really can wear it swimming. It is also black and glossy and holds curl amazingly well and even curls my straight lashes when I don't use an eyelash curler first. I get a substantial boost in volume and good length.

As far as cons go, it IS difficult to remove completely. My usual facial cleanser isn't enough of a solvent, so I have to use an eye makeup remover that is silicone-based or oil-based or Micellar to get this off. I don't mind doing this occasionally because I like knowing the mascara will not budge while I'm wearing it, but because it requires extra effort to remove, I don't want to wear it every single day. I have waterproof days and non-waterproof days.

There is quite a bit of wax in the formula, which is one of the things that makes it waterproof, but if you have never used it before you may be surprised at how thick it feels compared to a normal, non-waterproof mascara. I would absolutely buy it again for how waterproof it really is, and how well it holds curl.

This mascara has been one of the better ones that I have tried in a while. It holds up my curl, lengthens, defines my lashes and is (quite) waterproof. It tends to smudge on me after 6-7 hours of wear time though, which is the downfall. I don't have any other complaints though besides the price.

It's perfect for every day use.

There are three reasons for buying waterproof mascara.

1. You're getting married / going to a funeral / watching "Ghost"
2. You're going to swim
3. You are curling your lashes and want the curl to stay all day

Fortunately, people don't die around me that much, but I'm very fond of my Shiseido Eyelash Curler, and I have gotten a bit teary eyed the few times I thought I've lost it. Anyhow, that is why I bought this mascara. And it is a very basic waterproof. The curl stays good throughout the day with this formula on the lashes. They do not get super long, super thick or super black, but I don't expect that either from a waterproof. I'm happy with it. The brush is thin and nice, which I like, and it is not too spiky so it scratches the eyes when you apply. To really put this mascara to the test, I went to a water park and did a bit of unfortunate canon balling. After a whole day, I had panda eyes. The mascara goes of completely with almond or coconut oil. Next time, I will buy another mascara, I think. But it is not bad.

I have oily hooded lids and most of the time, my eye makeup ends up transferring to the bottom of my eyes. After reading many rave reviews on this product and after much consideration, I bought it despite its hefty price, hoping to find a solution to this misery LOL.

Unfortunately, this mascara did not work for me. Although it is good at holding a curl, it was extremely difficult to remove. I tried many methods - eye makeup remover, olive oil, lotion, facewas etc but nothing really worked. After trying this mascara a few times on separate days, I have lost at least 10 lashes noooooo :( Additionally, it gave me panda eyes after a few hours and I could not scrub it off with a tissue because it's such a stubborn formula.

Would not purchase again :(

I needed a waterproof mascara as I do water sport on a daily basis, so I saw this in Mecca and decided to try it. I quite like the length it gives, but it doesn't always hold the curl. Its fairly waterproof - it doesn't smudge too badly unless I rub my eyes super hard but it just doesn't last long in the water, I trained for an hour, got out of the pool and there was no mascara left on my lashes, just a slight black mark under my eyes, it looked like I was just really tired. At least it doesn't run like the cheapie I bought from the drugstore.
I like this for an everyday look and if you build it up it can look really good, and it lasts ages if your'e not swimming.

I needed a waterproof mascara for a beach vacation, so I tried this, but was NOT impressed. It defined my fine, puny lashes, held the curl, and was easily removed with Clinique's Take the Day Off balm. Also, the brush wasn't too unwieldy and I liked the black & turquoise packaging on the not-too-bulbous tube. However, the mascara fibers ended up under my eyes and on my cheeks after a few hours of wear. I never experienced eye irritation due to the fibers, but even after a few days, I was so annoyed at finding them under my eyes and on my cheeks that I had to return the mascara.

I really like the length that this mascara gives me however I'm not happy with how flakey it is! I get mascara flakes on my cheeks daily! It also runs out much quicker than other mascaras. I have purchased 3 tubes of cannonball and this third tube is almost out - I will be moving on to a new brand after that.

After my allergic reaction to Clump Crusher WP I went with this waterproof mascara. Although it's very expensive imo.

It's not very special, it doesn't curl my lashes much and voluminizes not much. But I like the very dark and shiny black colour.

At the end of my working day I had one racoon eye, so it's not very waterproof. I Do not rub my eyes but ocassionaly my eyes are wet due to the wind outside.

Great plus: It removes easily with UD Melt Down without forced scratching.

It's a very good mascara, but way to expensive. I'll go back to my Colossal WP.
