This is one of my favorites. It doesn't clumps even after several applications. and it lengthens my lashes. Everyone that notices my lashes always asked me if those are real or extensions, I don't know if its a good or a bad thing. But I notice that the formula is kinda strong compared to Almay. Coz I notice that there are few lashes (not much) that breaks when I use this mascara and then use eyelash curler which doesn't happen when I am using Almay. But still this is one of my favorites, I just apply lip balm first to make the lashes kinda elastic.

I love this mascara! I'd been wanting to try the CG Clump Crusher for a while but all I could find was the CG CC Extensions at my local Target. It really thickens and lengthens my lashes, doesn't smudge or flake even after 3 coats. I actually took a nap with it on and when I woke up a few hours later my lashes looked as good as when I first applied the mascara hours before. I'm very impressed. The duo of the CG CC Extensions and IT Cosmetics Tightline is a perfect combination for me. The price is fantastic also and being a drugstore mascara it's widely available everywhere. I have oily eyelids so most mascara tends to smear on my upper lid, not this one though. I'll keep repurchasing until I find something better, but it would take a lot to sway me.

This is my fav for mascara! I have a narrow face with small eyes and short, light, fine lashes. I love that the formula is more on the dry side so it is NOT messy for me to apply, doesn't smear, nor clump, nor flake, and lasts throughout the day. It gives volume, length and curl which has not been my experience with others.

I have tried the powder on the lashes to thicken, but ended up with powder in my eyes. And at one time I also was using two different mascaras in layers to try to get my lashes to show up and to hold a curl, but with little to no success.

But all that is behind me now and I will be sticking with this mascara!

(Just a tip for those that think this or other mascaras dry out too quick, you can always add a drop or two of contact lens or eye solution. I have not had to do that with this mascara!)

I totally love this mascara. It never clumps, separates without making my lashes look spidery, and is a great first layer that goes under my next Cover Girl mascara that thickens. If I'm lazy, or just want a quickie lash touch-up, this is my #1. I've tried all the expensive department store mascaras, and by far this one is top of the list. If it gets discontinued, I'll be really bummed.

I love love love this mascara. I love really big, overly dramatic lashes and I find that this mascara really helps me to get them. I think it layers really nicely and has paired well with any other mascara I've used with it, and if you prefer a more defined look you can easily use a regular mascara brush (not the plastic Cover Girl brush) to kind of comb it out. If I had to find something wrong with this, it would be that it does take quite a few coats to get it to the level that I like, but for people who prefer more natural lashes this would work nicely.

I got the Extensions instead of the original clump crusher coz several reviews said it was a drier formula than the original. I tend to like drier formulated non waterproof mascaras since they hold my curl a bit better.

I do like this mascara, it is a dry formula, one/two coat(s) is more than able to hold up my curl instead of weighing them down like most other non waterproof mascaras. If you have very stubbornly straight lashes this might hold your curl without being a waterproof mascara.
One to two coats can give you very natural but more defined and lengthened lashes, which I like as I'm not a big fan of volume or clumps. It is buildable, so you can add coats for more drama or layer with another mascara. (side note: if you like big voluminous lashes, this is probably not for you, at least not on its own)

You should be careful with the application as the wand is a rigid rubber wand. My only disappointment is that where I live they don't have a waterproof version of either of the clump crushers, I would really like to try it coz this is one of my favourite mascaras

Gotta say, I was not a fan of the original Clump Crusher. I've been using this for 2 weeks and I'm very happy! It's not too wet, easy to apply. I do find a get a little length and no clumps. I've been able to use this on my lower lashes without smudging. I was skeptical, but so far, it's been awesome! No flaking, itching, smudging at a decent price. I'm not sure it is waterproof/water resistant, which I do prefer, but when my eyes have watered, I haven't experienced any smudging.

I am curious how this will do in hot weather, so I will reserve that extra star until it proves itself in the heat of summer!

My HG for drugstore mascaras are by Cover Girl. I have tried the other drugstore brands and none give me such beautiful lashes like the Cover Girl. The Clump Crusher extensions is my #1 favorite, though I occasionally switch between this one and the Full Bloom by CG, another HG mascara I love. This mascara has no clumps, no flaking or smearing and provides really nice length, natural looking volume and separation. I also love that when I apply the mascara it doesn't go all over my eyelids. If you hold the spoon wand, like a rainbow shape, you get all your lashes, top and bottom quite nicely. I work in cosmetics, so when a lady comes looking for a beautiful does it all mascara that doesn't clump, I pretty much give her the clump crusher extensions. You get the length and the volume. You can't go wrong. However, every lady's lashes are different. One lady I spoke to swears by her Maybelline. The store owner where I work loves Rimmel, which I can not stand. It really is trial and error with mascaras to find the one you love the most. I highly recommend this mascara. I bought the black / brown shade in regular version. Not the waterproof. The formula is just perfect. If I were stranded on a desert island and could only own one mascara, this would be it. I love, love love my full bloom mascara, but this one rates just slightly higher in my book because it's everything I look for in a mascara.

I haven't written a review in a while, but my experience with this product compelled me to do so. Tired of purchasing high-end mascaras, only some of which were actually worth their value, I read a few MUA reviews and headed to my local Wally World to pick up a tube of Cover Girl Clump Crusher. As I was browsing, I noticed the Clump Crusher Extensions formula. I had no idea how this compared to the original Clump Crusher, but decided to give it a whirl. This mascara beats the pants off of the two Lancome mascaras and the Benefit mascara that I had been using. It's dark, glossy and provides both length and volume, as promised, without clumps! I'm also very prone to mid-day smudges and this formula doesn't budge! Color me impressed!

This is build able, without too many clumps or flaking/smudging. I layer this with my falsies mascara, as it gives length, but not too much thickening. If it did both, i would rate it a 5. I can layer as many coats as I want without worrying about getting buildup on my lashes, and it washes away clean.
