I really love this product. The product helps even out skin tone & my eyeshadow never creases. Would & have repurchased. I understand MAC is phasing out this product. It is so frustrating that I find products I like/love and these companies keep changing their products. In the past (with other companies) have had lipsticks & blushes I absolutely LOVED go away as new & many times lower quality products are brought on board.

This is my first eyeshadow primer, I've had it for 3 years now and it just wont finish. So in that way its good because it lasts forever.

Pros:
-Lasts very long because you don't even need much, a very very thin layer will do
-Beautiful texture, soft, creamy
-Nice highlight under my brows, my skin tone is like a warm sand (NC30-32) so it's just slightly lighter and yellowy
-Cute packaging and portable

Cons:
-It doesn't do its job:
-Primers are supposed to protect from creasing - this product creases within 2 hours for me! probably even less time and I just haven't noticed.
-after around 5 hours it doesn't look fresh; it doesn't preserve your eye make up. DO NOT use this on a long day, maybe just a night out?

Overall I don't want to buy it again which makes me a little sad because I love the packaging

I was disappointed with this product. I purchased it from the MAC Sale in Toronto.
It doesn't do justice to its purpose. It settles into your eye creases. When you apply medium-dark shadows, it creases at the lid. I found that light shadows worked best with this product and saw minimal creases.
I would suggest using a basic concealer instead.. This produce however works lovely with contouring for fair-medium skin types.

Such a terrible primer. Settles into creases before eyeshadow is even applied, and then when it is, the shadow shifts and settles within an hour max. Leaves me with gunky-looking, patchy colour. Avoid.

A soft flesh colored moussy cream (I bought it in medium). Applying this all over your top & bottom lid (basically wherever you plan to use eyeshadows) before applying the eyeshadows makes their color pop and gives them an amazing duration. The primer comes in a jar and the 5g that you get will last you for quite a long time. It has a moussy finish and it feels lightweight, almost like having applied nothing before the eyeshadow.
For me this is a must have product and no matter how many times I've run out of it, I repurchase it every single time and I will continue to repurchase it!

Usually if I am going to buy anything over $15 I like to try it for a day at least but I had a voucher and was feeling reckless, my mistake!
The packaging is cute and handy,
I bought this in light, and while I loved the colour, walking from the store to my car it had creased and settled.
I have tried to use it several times and found I was better off with no primer at all! Tried to use it as a concealer but it dried under my eyes and looked dry and patchy.
Lesson of the day: Try before you buy, especially when the store will not accept returns.

Despite the reviews, I thought I'd go ahead and try it anyway and I'm pleased to say I was happily surprised! You don't need to use too much of this product to get the results and I found that it did keep my eyeshadow on for most of the day. Love the glittery lid on it and personally, I think this is a great primer! I have been using it every day since I bought it and will definitely be buying it again when it runs out!
